Start with a conversation when you are ready.

I'm glad you're here. I created Roaring Courage Counseling as a telehealth practice where you can be vulnerable, open, and honest about life changes. My goal is to offer a warm, low-pressure space where you feel safe, welcomed, and seen, with affirming support for LGBTQ+ clients woven into the heart of my work.

The ROAR Framework

Resiliency. Openness. Awareness. Regrowth.

ROAR is the framework behind my practice: building steadiness, staying open, growing in awareness, and moving back toward yourself with courage.

R
Resiliency
Steadiness under pressure

I want to help you build the steadiness to move through difficult seasons without losing your center.

O
Openness
Honest reflection

I want this to be a space where you can speak honestly about what is changing, what is painful, and what still feels unclear.

A
Awareness
Clearer self-understanding

Together, we can notice the patterns, needs, and reactions shaping your day-to-day life so you can respond more intentionally.

R
Regrowth
Change with direction

My hope is that this work helps you reconnect with your authentic self and move toward choices that support your mental health.

Practice

A few things to know before you reach out.

These are the details I want people to understand early so the site feels clear and low-pressure.

Telehealth by design
I work fully through telehealth so support can be more accessible across Colorado and Idaho.
Woman-owned
I built this woman-owned practice around safety, warmth, and direct connection.
Affirming care
Queer and affirming care is part of how I practice, especially for clients who want a therapist who gets them.
Inclusive care
I do not turn people away because of race, sexuality, gender, or socioeconomic status.
Experienced support
I opened Roaring Courage Counseling in 2023, and I have been seeing clients since 2018.

Welcome

A safe place to be vulnerable, open, and fully yourself.

Queer and affirming
I work within the queer community, and affirming care is not an add-on here. It is part of how I show up.
For all community members
I welcome clients across identity and background, including couples, teens, people navigating racial concerns, and women looking for grounded support.
A lower-pressure beginning
You do not need a perfectly polished explanation of what is wrong before you reach out. You can start exactly where you are.
